Membership benefits
General Practice Network South (gpns) has been supporting general practice teams to provide high quality primary health care to people in our region for almost 20 years.
As your local general practice network (division), we provide support services to all GPs and Practice Nurses practising within our region. By simply completing a Membership Form application (which is subject to gpns Board approval); we can ensure that you have access to our comprehensive services and receive our publications, email updates and other information that interests you. Best of all - membership is free!
The many benefits of being a member include:
- eligibility for election to the gpns Board of Directors (excludes Associate members)
- eligibility to vote at gpns Board elections and general meetings (excludes Associate members)
- remuneration for Non-Executive Board Directors
- access to support tailored to the specific needs of your general practice including education, information and technology management, mental health services, practice accreditation, quality improvement and building strong inter-professional teams
- access to a designated Practice Support Team member for quick answers to your questions
- support to represent gpns on internal and external advisory committees, reference groups or at conferences
- free advertising of practice vacancies in our weekly member bulletin and on our website.
