Board

The Board's collective role is to oversee activities related to the governance, policy and strategic direction of General Practice Network South Inc (gpns).

The Board (of up to nine members) comprises seven elected members, at least five of whom are GP members. The Board can co-opt up to three people who can contribute management, financial, legal or other relevant skills. All Board members serve for three years (and for no more than two consecutive three year terms as outlined in the gpns Constitution. 

The Board meets monthly and its Finance Committee and Governance & Remuneration Committee meet regularly.  Nomination to the Board is open to all gpns members, excluding associate members.
